In addition to the Alkaloid and Cannabinoid product range, Extractas Bioscience also offer a diverse range of goods and services for customers and can be tailored to your specific needs.
Culinary Seed
Poppy seeds obtained from the harvested poppy plant are passed through a range of sieves, aspirators and gravity tables and then bulk packaged and delivered to our long term European based partner. From there our seed is further cleaned and blended for distribution into the confection, spice and bakery industries across the globe – ending up in places like in a New York bagel or on a cake in eastern Europe.
Non-Culinary Seed
Poppy seeds obtained from the harvested poppy plant are passed through a range of sieves, aspirators and gravity tables and then bulk packaged and delivered to our customers. From there our seed is further processed to yield a range of products including biodiesel, furnace fuel, paint oil and the poppy meal as agricultural fertiliser.
Sanitiser Products
Utilising our strong chemical production and regulatory knowledge we have produced medical grade hand sanitiser and surface sanitising agents for distribution into the national marketplace.
Land and Soil conditioner
Following the exhaustive extraction process the remnant poppy straw husk material is compressed and heat treated. The spent marc as it is called is spread as a land and soil conditioner by approved agricultural customers.
Hand sanitiser
Tasmanian Owned and Operated Medical Grade Hand Sanitiser – Ethanol 80%
Extractas Bioscience partnered with a Tasmanian business M2 Logistics to manufacture medical grade Hand Sanitiser and surface cleaning agents for distribution into Australian markets. As a registered TGA manufacturing facility the product is made in strict accordance with the World Health Organisation (WHO) recommended hand rub formulation using pharmaceutical grade products. The 80% ethanol product is fully compliant with TGA determination and is suitable for use in medical and health services.
